Results days

Students can collect their results at the UTC from 9 am until 11 am. Staff will be in school for consultation and advice, and if you or your child are unsure about anything please do come in and we can talk through next steps.

Students who need someone else to collect their results on the day must send in a hand written note (or use this template) this can be done beforehand and handed to Lisa Lucas (Exam Manager)  or put in the Trips Payment box or sent in with the person collecting the results in the students place. The individual collecting will need to bring a form of ID (driving license, ID card or passport) with them on the day.

Exam advice

The Mind Set is a group of student coaches from a variety of academic and diverse backgrounds, who have all recently taken their exams and understand the pressures involved.

In a series of short films the students offer practical advice on topics such as How to get started and How to plan your revision through to mental wellbeing advice such as How to stay motivated and How to believe in yourself.

The films are accompanied by tips written by our team of experts including a psychologist who specialises in working with teenagers, a GP, a deputy head teacher and educational consultants all with first- hand experience of helping students through this stressful time in their lives. Further advice is also available from YoungMinds, National Citizen Service and Childline.
